How to Make a round doll dress

Channel Pullip teaches how to make a round doll dress. To accomplish this, you'll need fabric. In the example she used sailor color themed material. You'll need lace and trimming, an elastic band, and velcro for closure. To start, cut the fabric to 17cm x 3cm, fold in half and sew to a tube shape. Then you'll turn it inside out and fold both ends in. Cut a 10cm piece of the elastic band. Then, sew the band to the material. You've just made the dolls headband. To make the top of the dress, you'll cut a rectangle 8cm x 12.5cm. Folding this piece in half, sew up both sides. You'll now turn it inside out. Put this piece on the doll. It'll be a little loose, so fold it in half leaving a little overlapping for the closure. For the skirt it takes 2 layers of fabric 24cm x 24cm. Fold both layers into triangles. Using 12cm as the guide, draw the outline of a circle. Cutting away the unwanted parts, you'll now use 2.5cm as the guide and draw a line of the inner circle. Cut away 1/4 to 1/3 of the circle away. This depends on how full you want the dress to be. Sew the two layers. Turn it inside out and add the trim and lace. Here you can be creative.

Before you completely sew the dress together fold and sew 2cm to add a closure to the skirt. Cutting small gaps to the skirt, cut a piece of elastic the same length as the top. Stretch and sew the band add the top and the closure, then sew the rest of the dress together. Now add any accessories you'd like.
